Gilbert Mortise Lock Box
Decorative lock box by Gilbert with brass face plate. Made for use with Gilbert knobs with a unique latch mechanism. It has a keyhole which locks the latch, no deadbolt. Box measures 3 1/2″l x 3 1/4″h x 3/4″ d. Face plate measures 5″h x 7/8″w. Cir. 1880s.
We clean, oil and test all of our lock boxes to make sure that they are fully functional. We may be able to match a skeleton key if needed for an additional $5. Please let us know if you are needing a key.
