We sometimes come across good quality salvaged reproduction hardware that is worth saving. In these cases, we want to make it clear that these are reproduction pieces. However, they are not new. They are found as used or new old stock. They may not even be made any more. We consider reproduction to be anything 1980s or later but in the style of older hardware.
Many types of hardware have been reproduced over the years, so this category is a bit of a catch-all. It all depends on what we find. This could include door hardware of various types, furniture hardware, even decorative hardware.
The salvaged reproduction hardware has been cleaned (if needed) and tested for functionality. We try to note whether it has been used or if it is new old stock.
