Brass Rosette

Thick stamped brass rosette escutcheon with three hole attachment. Rosette measures 2 1/4″ diam. No markings. Nice patina. Rosettes were a cheaper alternative to a full sized door plate and were often used on smaller closet or bathroom doors. Frequently they are paired with a keyhole cover to cover the key hole if the door is locking.

Note- Antique rosettes are not large enough to cover a modern hole. If you have a modern style hole in your door, consider a full sized door plate to cover.

This brass rosette is an antique item and may show wear due to age. This may include scratches, pitting, patina, finish loss, rust or other general wear.
