These handles have a 4 1/2″ center to center attachment measurement. This means that the holes for attachment screws, when measured from the center of one hole to the center of the second hole are 4 1/2″ apart. Be sure to measure from the middle of the two holes when measuring existing holes or a handle that you are trying to match for optimum accuracy.
4 1/2″ center to center handles are a somewhat common oversized handle. They were mainly used in furniture pieces.
