Sargent “Standing Lion/ Antwerp” Design Doorknob

Description

Single doorknob by Sargent in “Standing Lion/ Antwerp” design. Cir. 1910. Heavy, cast bronze. Knob is oval shaped and measures 2 1/2″h x 1 3/4″w. Design is a bit worn. Attachment hole on neck is worn and an additional hole has been added at some point. This allows for double shaft attachment, which holds quite nicely.
