Sargent Hartsdale Latch Door Plate
Brass door plate made by Sargent with a turn latch instead of a keyhole. Hartsdale pattern. Cir. 1920. The door plate measures 7 1/4″h x 2 1/2″w. The turn latch has a square shaft that measures 5mm square. It extends 1 1/2″ measured from the back of the plate. Nice patina.
There is a small crack in the brass of the cup where the doorknob sits. This should not affect the functionality.
